RBT Underfloor, trading as Robot Underfloor Heating, was established in Inverness in 2014 as a specialist supplier to the UK underfloor heating industry.
Until 31 December 2020, we operated as part of the Robot Group in the Netherlands. Following changes within the parent company, we acquired the UK division and rebranded as RBT Underfloor. Since becoming a privately owned business in 2021, we have continued to invest in our growth, relocating to larger premises that have more than doubled our warehouse capacity, allowing us to hold extensive stock and provide faster lead times for our customers.
Our partnership with Robot NL continues today. Robot has been designing and manufacturing premium underfloor heating manifolds in the Netherlands since 1988 and has earned a reputation for engineering excellence and innovation. Their compact composite pump manifolds are available in configurations from 1 to 16 ports, with a fully integrated pump and mixing assembly supplied ready to install—a unique design that sets them apart from many other systems on the market.
In addition to the compact range, Robot also manufactures high-quality stainless steel manifolds, available in configurations of up to 16 ports, providing a robust and reliable solution for larger residential, commercial and industrial heating projects.
Today, RBT Underfloor combines premium European-manufactured products with expert UK-based design, technical support and installation services. Whether supplying materials or delivering complete floor build-up packages, our focus remains the same: providing reliable, energy-efficient underfloor heating systems backed by exceptional service, technical expertise and quality workmanship.
