Milltimber Primary School – Underfloor Heating Installation

RBT Underfloor was appointed to design, supply and install the complete underfloor heating floor build-up for the new Milltimber Primary School, delivering a high-performance heating solution across 4,400m² of educational space.

The project included the installation of PIR insulation, membrane, perimeter edge strip, underfloor heating pipework and manifold assemblies before the system underwent comprehensive pressure testing in accordance with our quality assurance procedures.

The heating system was distributed across 18 Robot Compact Pro manifolds, providing balanced flow and independent heating zones throughout the school to ensure consistent, energy-efficient comfort in classrooms, circulation areas and communal spaces.

Following successful testing, the installation was completed with a 65mm Cemfloor flowing screed, providing excellent thermal conductivity and creating a durable floor construction ready to receive the final floor finishes.

Through careful planning, technical expertise and close coordination with the main contractor, RBT successfully delivered a complete underfloor heating package that meets the long-term performance, efficiency and reliability requirements of a modern educational facility.
