Old Balmore Road – Luxury New Build Development

RBT was appointed by Adam Scotland to deliver the complete floor build-up, including the design, supply and installation of underfloor heating systems, across a development of nine luxury new-build homes at Old Balmore Road.

The development consisted of nine properties with identical footprints, constructed as left- and right-handed mirror layouts. This enabled our technical team to produce efficient, bespoke heating designs while ensuring every installation was tailored to each property’s orientation.

Each home received a complete floor build-up comprising PIR insulation, a damp-proof membrane, perimeter edge strip and our underfloor heating system. Heating was distributed through Robot Compact Pro 8-port manifolds, providing balanced flow to each heating zone and delivering consistent comfort throughout the property. Once the installation was completed and pressure tested, each floor was finished with a 60mm Cemfloor flowing screed, creating an efficient thermal mass for optimum heating performance.

To provide homeowners with modern, intelligent heating control, every property was fitted with the Heatmiser Neo Smart Control System, offering individual room zoning, smartphone app connectivity and remote heating management. This future-proof solution allows occupants to monitor and control their heating from anywhere while improving comfort, efficiency and long-term energy savings.

By delivering the complete floor build-up—from insulation through to the finished screed—RBT provided Adam Scotland with a streamlined installation process, consistent quality across all nine homes and a high-performance underfloor heating solution ready for modern living.
